Ocean Winds: 60 seconds for everyone else.
A national broadcast campaign. Ocean Winds' first TV film, and the headline of their Beyond Energy campaign work. Made for the audience the industry feed never reaches.
Take offshore wind out of the industry bubble.
Ocean Winds builds and operates offshore wind at national scale, a joint venture of EDP Renewables and ENGIE with projects from the Moray Firth to France, Poland, and Korea. Inside the industry, everyone knows them. Outside it, offshore wind is something people mostly hear about second-hand, and often wrong.
LinkedIn reaches the sector. Television reaches everyone else: the communities who live beside the projects, the parents of the next workforce, the public whose support the energy transition actually depends on. The brief was one minute of broadcast film that makes offshore wind feel real, human, and near.
Broadcast grammar, built on the Beyond Energy platform.
The film grew out of Beyond Energy, the OW campaign we'd already built episodes for: the idea that a wind farm's real output is measured in people, places, and possibility, not just megawatts. TV compresses that thesis to its essence. Sixty seconds allows exactly one idea, zero jargon, and no second chances with an audience that didn't ask to hear from you.
Everything FC shoots runs on the same rule, and it mattered most here: the audience is the protagonist. Not the developer, not the turbines. A broadcast film has to earn its minute in someone's living room.
03 Outcome
The industry talks to itself. This talked to the country.
Ocean Winds' first major broadcast film, aired nationally in 2025 and now the headline piece of the Beyond Energy campaign. One film that works as a TV spot, a cinema-scale opener for events, and the front door to the longer Beyond Energy episodes for anyone who wants the full story.
